Emerald Lecture on "Building a Specialized AI Agents sharable with Academics" by EMBL Bioinformatics Training Officer, Jacobo Miranda.

We invite all interested researchers and students to a special event with EMBL Bioinformatics Training Officer, Jacobo Miranda, which will take place on Friday, November 14 at 15:00, at the CN Lecture Hall of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, Polish Academy of Sciences, 3 Pasteur Street, Warsaw.

Speaker: Jacobo Miranda, Bioinformatics Training Officer, EMBL, Heidelberg, Germany
Title: Building a Specialized AI Agents sharable with Academics
Abstract: Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT are designed to handle a broad range of general knowledge, yet they can be adapted to perform highly specialized tasks and operate within specific domains. In this talk, we will explore how to build and instruct a privacy-focused LLM capable of understanding domain-specific terminology, executing predefined workflows, and leveraging private documentation to generate more accurate and context-aware responses. We will discuss key technical and ethical considerations and technical limitations of such customized models.
